Need some major assistance here.... As a disclaimer - we are NOT programmers or have programming skills, therefore, we'd like some assistance in accomplishing the following....We have a new Facebook Page called Songward: facebook.com/pages/Songward-Purveyor-of-Great-Songs-From-Great-Artists/197141713650984.What we're trying to accomplish is to bulk-post comments/links/photos, etc unto the Pages we have under our LIKES. For example - when using Facebook as a Page under Songward, we "Like" Filter Magazine, New Normal Music, New Music Seminar, etc, etc. as you can see. We can post comments, links, photos, etc to each of the Like Pages as Songward (the company). What we're seeking is to post in bulk to the Pages we have as Like, so that we do not have to visit each Page individually in order to post our material, be it a comment, link photo, etc. Is this possible??Thanks!!!
If you are combining fancybox with slider/carousel script and that script clones items to enable infinite navigation, then duplicated items will appear in the gallery. To avoid that - 1) initialise fancybox on all items except cloned; 2) add custom click event on cloned items and trigger click event on corresponding "real" item. Here is an example using Slick slider:

You can add sliders, spinners, drop-down lists, check boxes, edit fields, and buttons to your live scripts to control variable values interactively. Adding interactive controls to a script is useful when you want to share the script with others. Use interactive controls to set and change the values of variables in your live script using familiar user interface components.
You can hide the code in a live script and display only formatted text, labeled controls, Live Editor tasks, and output. Hiding the code is useful when sharing and exporting live scripts. To hide the code, click the Hide code button to the right of the live script. You also can go to the View tab, and in the View section, click Hide Code. To show the code again, click the Output inline button or the Output on right button .
When the code is hidden, labels display next to the control. To modify the label for a control, right-click the control and select Configure Control. Then, in the Label section, enter the label text. The label text is also the text that displays on button controls in all views. Press Tab or Enter, or click outside of the control configuration menu to return to the live script.
To specify the minimum, maximum, and step values for a slider or spinner using variables, right-click the control and select Configure Control. Then, in the Values section, select a workspace variable for Min, Max, and Step. Only variables with numeric values appear in the drop-down list. If the variables that you want to select are not listed, try running the live script first to create the variables in the workspace. Changes to the variables are automatically reflected in the numeric slider or spinner.
You can modify when and what code runs when the value of a control changes. By default, when the value of a control changes, the Live Editor runs the code in the current section. To configure this behavior, right-click the control and select Configure Control. Then, in the Execution section, modify the values of the fields described in the table. Press Tab or Enter, or click outside of the control configuration menu to return to the live script.
When using a button control in a live script, consider setting the Run field for all other controls in the live script to Nothing. Then, the code runs only when the user clicks the button control. This can be useful when the live script requires multiple control values to be set before running the code.
If you share the live script itself as an interactive document, consider hiding the code in the live script before sharing it. When the code is hidden, the Live Editor displays only formatted text, labeled controls, Live Editor tasks, and output. To hide the code, click the Hide code button to the right of the live script. You also can go to the View tab, and in the View section, click Hide Code.
If you share the live script as a static PDF, Microsoft Word, HTML, or LaTeX document, the Live Editor saves the control as code. For example, if the Create Live Script with Multiple Interactive Controls example live script is exported to HTML (using the Export options on the Live Editor tab), the drop-down list control is replaced with its current value (locationStrings(1)), the check box control is replaced with its current value (false), the numeric slider control is replaced with its current value (31), and the text box control is replaced with its current value ("e"). The button is not displayed at all.
Hi, I like this script very much although I have a small problem, I have a static box that pops up when I click a icon at the top of my page, I would like to know when I press any button on this static box (Like OK or Close) how do I get that to open another box?
You could add an onclick event to your button, and call a javascript function that updates the value textarea to what you would like it to be. If you are planning on having a bunch of changes to this text area it may be smarter to just code them as a separate page, and open the initial page in a lightbox using the IFrame method, then just link them like you would normal pages. If you need more help let me know, I can whip up a quick demo since you cant post html in a reply.
Great job! Is there a way to call Lightface via javascript instead of onclick. I like facebox but your lightbox formatting is better since I would like to use it as an alert box too. Example to load facebox using javascript the command is:
i never use this plug-in before. it would be very time taking just go through all API of this plug-in. i have very small requirement. when user click on feedback button then i want to show this modal dialog plug-in with no button just a empty dialog with some fixed height and width and then a busy progress bar will display at the center of the dialog. in next line i will call my server side function through jquery ajax and which will return few html code like
i have issue with the lightface dialog.can we show the popup at specific area on the page like that i provide x and y coordinate or suppose if click on the link then popup will just appear just bottom of that link. is it possible. please give me the code.
Great script this!! love it. I would really like to be able to customize it for my needs a little more though. For instance, I would like to be able to have a graphic as a button and place it as a regular image link at the button area. Would this be possible?
The Code Block Element allows you to add code (HTML, CSS, Javascript etc) to the page without WordPress changing the format. For the element to work, Code Block Encoding, found in Options > Advanced > Theme Features tab, must be enabled.
Many sites use third-party embeds to create an engaging user experience by delegating some sections of a web page to another content provider. The most common examples of third-party content embeds are video players, social-media feeds, maps, and advertisements.Third-party content can impact the performance of a page in many ways. It can be render-blocking, contend with other critical resources for network and bandwidth, or affect the Core Web Vitals metrics. Third-party embeds may also cause layout shifts as they load. This article discusses performance best practices that you can use when loading third-party embeds, efficient loading techniques, and the Layout Shift Terminator tool that helps reduce layout shifts for popular embeds. It's best to use the techniques described in this post to load only offscreen or non-primary page content. This ensures that all the critical content gets indexed by search engines. What is an embed #A third-party embed is any content displayed on your site that is:Not authored by youServed from third-party serversEmbeds are frequently used in the following:Websites related to sports, news, entertainment, and fashion use videos to augment textual content.Organizations with active Twitter or social media accounts embed feeds from these accounts to their web pages to engage and reach out to more people.Restaurant, park, and event venue pages often embed maps.Third-party embeds are typically loaded in <iframe> elements on the page. Third-party providers offer HTML snippets often consisting of an <iframe> that pulls in a page composed of markup, scripts, and stylesheets. Some providers also use a script snippet that dynamically injects an <iframe> to pull other content in. This can make the third-party embeds heavy and affect the performance of the page by delaying its first-party content.Performance impact of third-party embeds #Many popular embeds include over 100 KB of JavaScript, sometimes even going up to 2 MB. They take more time to load and keep the main thread busy when executing. Performance monitoring tools such as Lighthouse and Chrome DevTools help to measure the impact of third-party embeds on performance.Reduce the impact of third-party code Lighthouse audit shows the list of third-party providers a page uses, with size and main-thread blocking time. The audit is available through Chrome DevTools under the Lighthouse tab.It is a good practice to periodically audit the performance impact of your embeds and third-party code because embed source code may change. You can use this opportunity to remove any redundant code. 2ff7e9595c
